Surrealism by Country

Surrealist Connectome by Country shows how the Surrealist idea was communicated across a large array of countries ranging from Hungary to Martinique, Japan to the US, Canary Islands to France, Switzerland to Germany and the Netherlands, Serbia to Cuba, Sweden to Argentina and Egypt and Turkey. It also shows that the surrealists supported Charlie Chaplin where he was barred from the Us for being suspected to be a “communist” sympathiser.
